As a writer, I need a space that feels uber creative to really think and express myself. It has to be beautiful, colorful and inspiring. My friend Liz at Decorator Girl has the dreamiest home office.
Here’s how she describes the inspiration for her home office: “I spent many years living in Europe and fell in love with the Paris flea market style with a hint of Chinoiserie mixed in. The color inspiration came from the fact that I have three sons and no daughters and I wanted to design a girly fun office using tones of coral and blue and throwing in various shades of yellow. The plate wall is especially inspiring when working on projects that involve color. It is an extremely comfortable room for clients to come and visit. I have a round table that is not pictured but is used as a desk for myself and clients to look through fabric books.”
